Charlotte Tilbury purchase

 Hello lovelies! It has been a very long time! I am back and shopping for make up has never been more fun! With Covid-19 affecting our lives, make up shopping has been my sanctuary!

I have been obsessed with Charlotte Tilbury products for quite some time. There are amazing new releases and live masterclasses available too! I had one concerning foundations and powders. Here is my latest purchase!

  

EYES TO MESMERISE

LONG-LASTING EASY COLOUR - CHAMPAGNE

I had been very interested in trying out this cream eyeshadow after seeing it online. This colour is fabulous for an everyday look. It is light shimmery gold. It applies smoothly with your finger and lasts for 5 hours. It works well on hooded eyes as well as it brightens and can be used in combination with a powder eyeshadow on top.

 I have received lots of compliments when wearing this! I love this product! 7 ml 

PILLOW TALK LIP AND CHEEK GLOW 

COLOUR OF DREAMS

A new limited edition product which is very handy if you are on the go and in need of some colour. This is meant to be used as a lip gloss and blush all-in-one. I have been using it as a lip gloss with either a brush or my finger for natural pink lips. It is worth the hype! 2.5 g

CHEEK TO CHIC SWISH & POP BLUSHER - FIRST LOVE

 I've bought a lot of blushes over the years and I was never quite satisfied. This was it for me! Finally a blush that can give a natural color to the cheeks without looking like I am wearing blush. It's a very neutral, buildable color that compliments my fair skin. A very light nude peach. This is THE BEST blush I have ever bought! I will be purchasing more of these! 8 g

GENIUS MAGIC POWDER UNDER EYE & FACE - FAIR

Although I loved all the products, this one was not as good as I had hoped it would be. I have never purchased loose powder and I thought it would be great to use on its own to reduce shine. The coverage is very sheer. I recommend using it with a foundation. It does not make my skin look flakey and dry though. 13 g

Hello everyone! I have another Charlotte Tilbury purchase to share with you. I have had these products for a couple of months now and tried them all out. As always her packaging is beautiful, however, this time there was an item that I wasn't too happy with.

Instant Magical Facial Dry Sheet Mask

I was super excited to get this face mask. I had been patiently waiting for its release and then I got the email with a promo. I could get a small size of Magic Face Cream with my purchase. I had previously tried it in a sample and I really loved it. The face mask is dry which appealed to me. So I tried the face mask but I am sorry to say that I really didn't like it. It made the redness in my skin come out which didn't look good. I have used it a second time to give it another chance but sadly, the results were the same.



Light Wonder Youth-Boosting Perfect Skin Foundation - 1 Fair

After trying this out in a sample from my previous purchase, I knew it was perfect! This foundation is INCREDIBLE!!! I am in my early forties so I need something with light to medium coverage. This delivers on everything it claims to do. It instantly illuminates, hydrates and makes skin smoother. It minimizes pores and has a dewy finish. It evens out skin tone with buildable coverage. I LOVE this foundation because it covers fine lines and it gives you this inner glow. Fantastic!

Lip Cheat Reshape & Resize Lip Liner - Hollywood Honey

There was a combo available online of this lipliner with a matte revolution lipstick. This lip liner goes on smoothly allowing you to reshape and resize your lips as the name suggests. It is a beautiful product and the colour is gorgeous.

Matte Revolution Luminous Long Lasting Lipstick - Bond Girl

I like this lipstick even more than the KISSING lipstick I had previously purchased. The colour is fabulous and the texture is too. It has a soft texture with a soft matte finish. It isn't drying and lasts for hours. It is by far the best matte lipstick I've ever tried. It has a square angled tip for precise application. I highly recommend it because it doesn't sit in the creases of your lips either. Great quality!

Samples

The great thing with Charlotte Tilbury is that you get to choose which samples you want. As I mentioned, there was a promo and I received a 15ml sample of the Magic Cream. This cream is quite hydrating so I am saving it to use in the fall/winter. It moisturizers without leaving a greasy feeling making it suitable to use with a foundation. I also received samples of two lipsticks which were hard to use properly in that packaging. The lipstick is in the shape of lips on a small piece of paper for you to press down on with your lips. Not very efficient.
I also got a sample of the Goddess Clay mask. It was a nice mask to use but not something I would purchase. Lastly, I got a sample of Magic Foundation. This has more coverage than the Light Wonder foundation. It was also wonderful! A great alternative for someone who wants more coverage.

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a fabulous time over the holidays. I am so excited to finally get products by Charlotte Tilbury. This is what I got darlings!

Airbrush Flawless Finish Skin Perfecting Micro Powder: 1 Fair

This face powder does have a big name! I got this after seeing Charlotte Tilbury's tutorial videos on Youtube. She has fabulous tips on applying make up giving you tons of ideas on how to achieve certain looks. This powder has little coverage and is used over a foundation to give a matte finish on your T-zone or over the entire face. It does exactly that. If you want a face powder just for that, it's perfect. I have normal to dry skin and am in my early forties so this is perfect. After your forties, powder is your enemy as it usually shows and settles into fine lines. This powder doesn't do that so I highly recommend it! It comes as is without a brush or sponge.

Colour Chameleon Eye Shadow Pencil: Dark Pearl

This I had to try. After seeing countless videos on this product I had to see if it was that good. Well it is! If you're on the go and don't have much time or technique, this is great to use every day or night as it can be applied and blended with your finger. I LOVE this and surely buy more shades. This has a taupe/silver finish without having too much shimmer. The more you apply, the darker it gets. It's just that easy!

 

Full Fat Lashes 5 Star Mascara

This only comes in glossy black. There are 2 mascaras in Charlotte Tilbury's make upline. This promises curl-separation-length-volume-drama...! Does it do all that? Yes! It's fantastic and doesn't smudge either. I read mixed reviews about this but I still decided to buy it. I really like it and will be replacing my current mascara with this. If only it came in brown too!

KISSING Lipstick: Stoned Rose

The packaging is so retro chic and the quality is amazing. The shade is a beautiful honey/pink and can be darker if you use a darker lipliner. What I love is that it has an anti oxidant which naturally protects lips from UV damage and  external pollution.

   

               

The great thing about ordering on the Charlotte Tilbury website is that you can choose any two samples you want! I got the Magic Cream and loved it! It is thick and very moisturizing, perfect for my skin in winter. I used it under make up and it worked really well. I want to get that too! 

The other sample I got was the Light Wonder Youth Boosting Perfect Skin Foundation. This is a light coverage foundation perfect to use every day. It is light and natural, ideal to use with the Airbrush Flawless Finish Skin Perfecting Micro Powder. I want this too!

In my purchase they also included a sample of her Scent of a Dream perfume which I have been using since. At first I wasn't sure whether I liked it. It is really potent on me at first but an hour later it is nicer. However, it doesn't sit well on my skin.

I LOVED all the products I bought and have nothing negative to say about them. There are skin care and make up kits on the website too. If you love make up like me, give it a try! I've got a wishlist waiting on the website for the future!
