Diorskin Forever Perfect Cushion Foundation

Hello everyone! I finally got my hands on this after it was sold out at my local Galerie de beaute! I had ordered it and ran over to get it once it arrived!

After having tried the Capture Totale Dreamskin Perfect Cushion Foundation and finding that it doesn't have enough coverage, I went and tried this on. It is FABULOUS!! I prefer the cushion version because it made my skin luminous compared to the bottle version. It is incredibly convenient to carry around as well.

It conceals imperfections, unifies skin tone and refreshes the complexion. It has UVA and UVB SPF 35 protection and a poreless effect while improving skin texture. It DOES everything it claims! I think this is worth all the hype! If you're looking for a cushion foundation, try this on before making a purchase. The beauty consultants at Dior are always so helpful.

I got it in the shade 010 Ivory. It comes with a puff but can also be applied with a brush. There is no refill in the packaging. Refills are sold separately.

Dior Pore Reducing Pro-Youth Moisturizer

Hello everyone! Today I have a product that I have been using for a couple of months now and can say I really love. I had to share info on this as I know that invisible pores is something most of us need and desire. 

This product is amazing. I had been using another serum for minimizing pores (Idealist-Estee Lauder) but it was sold out at my local beauty store and was recommended this.

It claims that: 

''A luxurious moisturizer to reduce the appearance of pores, deeply hydrate, and provide a matte radiance. Hydra Life Close-Up reduces the appearance of pores both instantly and over time. Dior identified three different causes of visible pores dry pores, linked to accumulation of dead skin cells on the skin's surface; oily pores, from excess sebum production; and slackened pores, caused by loss of collagen. To the trio of Hydra Life active ingredients, black rose, jisten, and centella, Dior added an innovative ingredient: flax flower, to act on all underlying causes of visible pores. Additionally, optical powders provide a matte radiance to the skin. Pores appear invisible, even close-up. Upon application, the skin is rebalanced and hydrated, the pores are tightened, and skin's texture is smooth and even. Ι must admit that I had been using it for about a month before really noticing the benefits. There were no visible results at first. Now I can say that it does help my skin. I am in my early forties with normal skin and a bit of redness. I need to use something in the morning as a base for my make up. This moisturizes, reduces the appearance of pores and works great under my foundation. It has a pinkish beige gel/cream consistency and feels amazing. However, the results do take time.

It does have a steep price tag but I believe it is worth it. It comes in a pump so a little goes a long way. Once you try this, there’s no stopping it.

Dior Dreamskin Perfect Skin Cushion Foundation

Hello Everyone! Cushion foundations are all the buzz online with it becoming available in Europe and North America as this trend was launched in Asia and has been widely successful. When I saw it at my local beauty  store, I knew I had to try it.

I bought it in the shade 010. It has an SPF 50 and it's packed with ingredients to benefit your skin regardless of your age. It boasts that it can reduce the appearance of redness, shine and pores.Your skin feels fresh, matte and luminous. It also claims to have all the anti-aging properties of Dreamskin Serum that combat lines, dark spots, redness and lack of glow.
Does it really do all that?

I have been using it for a month now and I have to say that I really like how it's super easy to carry around during the day without really needing a brush to apply it with. It comes with a puff which is handy on the go. However, with a brush I find it blends better and offers more coverage. The puff is a bit annoying to use as it doesn't really get enough product on it to use easily. There is a great mirror on the compact and it comes with a refill in the box.

It feels amazing. My skin feels soft and it does offer a matte finish. I find that the coverage isn't enough to cover redness, which it claims to do. I have to use a concealer with it and maybe a bit of powder on my T zone for the shine. I haven't really noticed a difference in the texture of my skin as my redness is still evident.
I think it would be interesting to try out their other cushion foundation which offers more coverage and compare the two.
